Boys will be Boys!

Zane has been very interested in bodily functions as of late. And thanks to Daddy, he has learned the age old "Pull My Finger". He also laughs when he toots, but luckily 90% of the time says "Excuse Me". He loves to burp and is very proud of his poop. One of his favorite books is EVERYBODY POOPS. I think is favorite line is "A one humped camel makes a one humped poop and a two humped camel makes a two humped poop...ONLY KIDDING!" This morning he after he went to the bathroom, he said, "lots of poop mommy, because I ate all my dinner." I must say, I am proud that he is learning that because he eats he has to poop. But he did not eat all his dinner until this morning.

He is also into fishing. One of his favorite places to fish is in the washing machine when I am doing laundry. He will take anything that is string like (ribbon belt or cloth tape measure) and will "fish" in the washing machine. TOO CUTE!

I am still having an issue with quiet times. We need the break from each other, but he is still not able to have toys or books in his room, he destroys them. He also falls asleep 15 minutes before it is time to get up, after 1 hour and 15 minutes of fighting with him. This was what happened on Tuesday:
He pulled out all his clothes, rearranged the pillows and fell asleep on the concrete floor?!?! He then slept through the entire repair of the refrigerator. (The ice maker's motor burned up and we are so thankful that we got the extended warranty from SEARS, a $350 repair cost NOTHING, no questions asked! EVER!)

He has also made EVERYTHING a contest! I must "race" the cars on the highway, even if the traffic is stopped. Everything is a race. He even gets start/finish lines made. This competitive at THREE! I think we are in for it.

And, well, knowing his MOTHER, I'm not too surprised on the competitive part!!! :)
