It is that time of year that we remember our babies. Oct. 15 is Infant Loss Awareness Day. I have heard this so many times and it so hits home but here it is again. "
A person that losses a partner is called a widow. A child who loses a parent is called an orphan. But there is no word to describe a parent who loses a child, because that loss is like no other."
There are more out there than you realize. Those of us who have three children but you only see two, or five but only see three, four but only see two or two but don't see any. Please take time to remember these families and their precious babies. We love them and they will be missed. But we are still parents.
