Renaissance Festival

Go back to the days when knights and kings ruled the land and ladies were dressed in beautiful gowns. Manners were not as they are today and the art was starting to come alive. So many things were changing and some of today's greatest inventions were starting to develop. Oh to see where Shakespeare was inspired and to understand where the tales of dragons came from. How fun it is to travel back in time to see the merriment of what we thought it could be like. So I am more in love with the costumes and art than some of the other "stuff" at the Festival, but it is so much fun. We had such a great time! I loved it and seeing it from Zane's eyes was so much fun. David and I knew where he would just love, and we were right.

One cool thing is that the Grey Hound Rescue is there.

There was so much fun had and so many new things. I can't wait to see what lies ahead for next years visit. Maybe he will wear his crown that I made (did not want to wear it until we were HOME!)
