********UPDATE**********
After talking with Granddad's drs. it looks like the best course of action is going to be to put him into a nursing home. This pains me to no end. Please pray that my parents find the best one, that Granddad does not shut down and that he accepts this as what is best for him and for Doris.
********UPDATE**********
I talked to my dad (twice already) and Granddad is doing much better. He was given oxygen and his confusion seemed to disappear. They are working on getting him on a CPAP, which they have tried but only gave him one option, which there are many different styles. Lets hope he finds one that is comfortable and easy to use. They are talking to the drs tomorrow morning and hopefully Granddad will be released Tuesday. After he is settled my parents will head back to Denver (from Hutchinson, KS) so others at my Dad's work can get time off. He did have two weeks around Thanksgiving off. So he is feeling a little guilty for taking time off around Christmas also. Thank you all for praying for my Granddad. Our family can not express our gratitude enough.
*****ORIGINAL********
Yes, this has been a tough year. I am asking for a prayer request. My Granddad is in the hospital. All I know is that his blood pressure dropped really low and that he is very confused. My brother talked to him letting him know that my parents are on their way out (Denver to Hutchinson, KS) and Granddad told him that they should not bother for he is working up north (he has not worked in 20+ years). This is the same man that Zane is named after. So please say a prayer that the right decisions are made in regards to his care, and what to do from here. We don't know if Grandma will be able to care for him or not. Thank you so much.
