November 1 is a great day to start 30 days of thankfulness. I am going to try and post something I am thankful for each day of the month. TRY!!!! Which is why today's is so wonderful.
I was at Walgreens, again, and was stopped by someone commenting on my redheads, again and she (an elderly woman who looked like she was waiting for a ride) said that she had a redhead son too. Then asked if Zane went trick-o-treating last night. It was a short little conversation, but she was very pleasant and talked to both of them. When we came out, she was still there. I could tell she was looking for her ride. I got both boys buckled and by that time she was back at the bench. I asked if she was waiting for her ride (which was obvious) and was about to ask her if she needed to use a phone. Well, she told me that her ride had fallen asleep and was on his way. I made a remark on how long they were married (saw the wedding ring). She asked me to guess. I figured that it was for a while, so I said 60 years. I think I surprised her, but she smiled and said "Very close, it is 67!" We talked a little longer and her husband showed up. She, in a joking voice, asked "should I give him a hard time or kiss him?" I said "Both!" I then asked/stated "Your secret must be forgiveness." She just smiled and said "A lot of it".
So what am I thankful for: Forgiveness!

I love this! I don't think I can make it work every day on the blog, so I will settle for my usual wrap-up at the end of the month.
I LOVE that you've been posting more here this year. Its great fun to hear the stories behind the photos. Although, it makes me miss you more.
